Why Does My Pod Vape Taste Burnt? 7 Causes and How to Fix Dry Hits

Nothing ruins a vaping session faster than inhaling a sharp, acrid burnt hit from your pod system or disposable vape. In technical terms, a burnt taste occurs when the metal mesh heating element inside your cartridge heats up while the surrounding organic cotton wick is dry or coated in caramelized sweetener. Once organic cotton fibers scorch, they cannot un-burn; however, understanding the seven mechanical causes of dry hits will help you prevent early coil failure and make every replacement cartridge last two to three full weeks.

1. Insufficient priming on a brand-new replacement pod

The number one cause of instant coil failure in Pakistan happens within the first two minutes of opening a fresh blister pack.
