Signs It Is Time to Change Your Pod
- Flavor degradation: The e-liquid tastes muted, burnt, or harsh on your throat.
- Darkened liquid: The e-liquid inside the pod turns amber or dark brown around the coil ports.
- Gurgling or spitback: The internal cotton wick is oversaturated and can no longer vaporize liquid efficiently.
- Reduced vapor: Coil resistance has drifted and produces weak vapor output.
Proper Priming Procedure
To avoid burning a brand-new coil instantly: fill the pod with e-liquid, close the silicone fill plug, and allow it to sit undisturbed for at least 5 to 10 minutes before inserting into your device and firing. Taking a few gentle primer puffs with the pod disconnected also helps draw liquid into the wick.
